FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY! SperryFest is not just a duck race, our street festival has become an annual highlight for the region. Join us for local eats, local libations, local artisans, kid’s corner and more! This event is free!

Duck race tickets may be purchased at local Sperryville businesses as well as day-of the race for $10. Your duck could win up to a $500 gift card for use at any Sperryville businesses!

KIDS DUCK DASH: 2PM

This years special Duckling Race will be just for kids! Parents may purchase a duck for $5 from the kids corner on the day of the race (no tickets or pre-purchases required) at Stonewall Abbey Wellness where it can be painted (using water based, non toxic paints) and then raced at 2PM. All contestants will receive their duck to take home after the race.

MAIN RACE: 4PM

This year’s Main Rubber Duck Race will feature 1,000 rubber ducks racing from the Main Street bridge adjacent to The Rescue Squad to the finish line behind Sperryville Schoolhouse / Golf Course. Tickets will be available for a $10 suggested donation each at participating Sperryville businesses. Make sure to get your tickets early as they sell out fast! Tickets MAY be available on the day of the race pending availability.

Join us for live music throughout the day! This year’s lineup includes:

10-12:30 - Smokin’ Trout

12:30-1:00 - Juggling

1-1:45 - Back Road Revels (1st set)

2:15-3:45 - Back Road Revels (2nd set)

Also enjoy street juggling performances throughout the day in our concert area and randomly along Main Street.

2PM is the official DUCK DASH! Purchase a rubber duck ($5) for your own duckling to paint then race! Don’t forget to return to the kids corner at 1:30 PM to prepare for the Ducklings parade down Main Street led by Rappahannock’s own, Lady Panthers!

Kids can paint their ducks (using SperryFest supplied, non-toxic paints) which will then be raced down the river in an exclusive, kids only race at 2PM. (Launching from the bridge at the Rescue Squad). Kids will be able to take their painted racing ducks home.

This year’s kids corner is located in the Stonewall Abbey parking lot.
